These photos were taken from last nights in-person meeting.
One of the issue for CNC users is how to collect the massive amount of dust generated while drilling. Bill brought a vortex dust collecter to be connected to the shop vacuum cleaner to do just that. We tested the set up with some random-sized bread crumbs. The photos below are showing the bottoms of two 5 Gallon buckets. The first one, which the dust collecter sits on, is where all the breadcrumbs were.  The second one for the vacuum cleaner does not have any breadcrumbs (only plastic Christmas tree leaflets).  A very successful demonstration of a much needed product. We missed the duct tape but was able to use plastic lunch bags to accomplish the job.
The meeting happened on the first floor with improved lighting. Soup and bread were provided with the addition of complimentary Girl Scout cookies and John’s homemade cookies. Yum.
T-1 Gathering is being scheduled at the restaurant with an outdoor beer garden. Once confirmed, we’ll post the event.
Enjoy your day!Yow-Ning
