We had a General Meeting filled with action and activities.  What a treat!

The not-so-long anticipated Virtual Reality gaming assembly was brought and set up by Ryan.  “Beat Saber” was the name of the game.  Everyone took a turn to reaffirm that they possess certain level of coordination for virtual self-defense.  No one had any experience or practice so all landed on a solid level of “E”— on-spot interpreted as “Excellent”.  Ryan demonstrated how to achieve the level “D”— for “Demonstration”, of course.
Those who missed this meeting, worry-not.  Ryan will return from camping/fishing the week after next.  A gaming grade CPU is required for this experience.

Mixed Reality or Augmented Reality was introduced through a Smart Glass gadget.  With this handsome headset, Ryan mapped out our physical surroundings with (from the left), James standing, Yow-Ning standing, Tom standing, and Tom sitting. (Good job having a body double, Tom!).  Ryan is shown as the white dot in the center. All he did was clicking an invisible mouse within the camera range of the headset.  He even 3D-mapped the upstairs ground floor by walking up wearing the headset.  Corrine figured out the Glasses took verbal instructions as well.
Next, Ryan pulled out (of apparently nowhere) a waving floating astronaut, a dinosaur, together with some other random objects, and positioned them in the mapped space, thus “augmenting” the “reality”.  Through the headset, those added objects were brighter than the background so they resembled some sort of supreme being.
Yow-Ning (the realtor component of), related the process to virtually staging a house.
MS PACKMAN ON APPLE II
James kept himself busy by figuring out how to run PACKMAN on a floppy-less Apple II computer. By doing so, he earned a free pass to the Retro Gaming Event this weekend!
ISLAND LABS COASTER ET AL
Tom designed the main outdoor sign for the Moose Lodge as well as an Island Labs logo for the laser-engraved slate coaster.  Mike was so appreciative that he personally came downstairs to share his joy.  We thank Tom for being a good Moose for IL.
CNC MACHINE
Brent is getting ready to use the CNC machine to make a sign for his daughter.  The immediate task on hand is to have the right-sized bolts to lock it down securely to the foldable table.  His daughter is an award-winning cosplayer, who just inherited her brother’s paid-off house.  As an ex-cop, he volunteered to demonstrate how to quickly change cartridges.  The author, on the other extreme, brands all gun-owners cowers.
That’s all, Folks!
