<p>I’m writing with an opportunity to give your students a head start  
in one of the most important and fastest growing industries –  
cybersecurity. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand is hosting the inaugural New York  
Senator’s Cup CyberChallenge and I would like to invite your school  
and students to participate.</p>
<p>Our state and our country face increasing threats in cyberspace and  
there is a critical shortage of skilled cybersecurity professionals to  
address them. Good jobs are going unfilled.</p>
<p>The New York Senator’s Cup CyberChallenge will help fill this  
critical skills gap. College students from across the state will come  
together, compete to win top honors, and earn internships at some of New  
York’s finest businesses and institutions.</p>
<p>The Challenge has two parts - an on-line competition and a state finals  
event to be held at NYU Polytechnic on April 20, 2013.</p>
