Quick note: the Island Labs mailing list strips sender addresses in
some sort of misguided attempt to avoid spam.  This, combined with the
fact the people like to not sign their emails, results in messages
like the one I'm replying to - messages with no identifiable sender.

*Please* sign your emails with at least your name, a handle, whatever.
 An obfuscated email, or a web address with a contact form, or an IM
handle would be helpful too, in case someone wants to take a
conversation off-list.
